Vladimir Ginzburg was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. He immigrated to Israel in 1979
and, astonished by the blinding light of the sun and the vivid colors surrounding him,
began drawing and painting everything that he saw. Mr. Ginzburg moved to New York
in 1989 where he continues to create his art.
